Unhandled Error

I am using Acrobat 10.1.8 on a Mac running 10.11.6

 

I am trying to convert the spot colors in my file to CMYK but I keep getting an AEHandler unhandled exception caught! And I am not able to run the color conversion.  What is happening?

Your version is not supported anymore. The only thing that I can think of is to repair your installation (not the same as uninstalling and reinstalling) and then reapply the last planned update for your Acrobat version from here:

 

 

Verify also if it would be convenient to reapply El Capitan Combo Update from here: https://support.apple.com/kb/dl1885?locale=en_US
