Uninstalling damaged Acrobat XI to reinstall clean version

Will uninstalling Acrobat XI (because I get a notification that the program is damaged and needs to be reinstalled) also delete all of the Acrobat pdfs on my drive? If so, is there a way to uninstall without deleting any pdfs?

Do you know exactly where all your PDF files are? I ask because some people save to random folders which can be deleted. Uninstalling Acrobat may remove folders but it won’t specifically remove your files.

In any case, before you start make sure you have a backup of all your PDFs. And everything else.
