Unprotecting documents with password

I have opened a protected PDF documents with the password, but when I select to Unprotect it and use the same password it says password is incorrect? How do I unprotect it???

You unprotect it with the correct password. Opening passwords and unprotecting passwords may be different. You need to contact the document creator for this. There is no other solution. It works as intended.
