Unselecting marker every time i mark something

My acrobat has started to un-equip the highliting tool every time i use it. It does not do the same thing with the other tools, only with the highlighting tool. Every time i’ve marked something it goes back to the cursor. It didn’t do this until recently.

Its driving me insane.

If you have any suggestions please help

Thank you

    Hello Anand. I found the issue. When selecting marker there is an option to unpin it. I pressed this by mistake and didn’t realize. Hope this helps someone in the future.

    Hi @OskarLange12 ,

    Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the troubled experience.
    That is unusual and frustrating. Let’s try some basic troubleshooting and see if that helps you:

    • Check for Pending updates. Help > Check For Updates.
    • Wins: Menu > Help > Repair Acrobat installation.

    If the above suggestions don’t help, you may try resetting the preferences:

    Hello @OskarLange12

    • Wins: Menu > Help > Repair Acrobat installation.

     Wins = Windows

    In a Windows machine, open the Acrobat app. Check the menu tab at the top of the application. Click on it, then select Help > Repair Installation.

    Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.
