The crop tool no longer shows the crop lines in my document. The crop lines show in the crop tool but not the document?

@Dkbrgr sometimes, maybe on your end, it could be also be due to a graphics driver issue, a software glitch, or a conflict with display settings. It can be the a certain zoom or view settings are interfering with the display of the crop lines. I was trying to crop a page the other day, and I was too zoomed in the page.

It happened a year or so ago also. Adobe’s, once I finally got to somebody in support* my god it’s like pulling teeth, acknowledged it is a bug in the update. Their solution was/is to revert us back to a way previous version and turn off auto updates for Acrobat. I know it seems trivial to most Acrobat users, but we are a university print shop and use that tool all day every day.

Thanks for the response!

David

*Note: the issue is not Adobe Tech Support, rather it is as an enterprise user we have a university system administrator who mainly deals with licensing issues and not program issues. Adobe’s web site refers me to our “Admin” All they can do is put in a ticket among the 1000s of other things their responsible for.

Hello!

I hope you are doing well.

As you mentioned, you contacted the support team, and they suggested reverting to a previous version. Have you started experiencing the issue with version 25.001.2043x, the optional update from March 19, 2025? Does it happen with all the PDFs, or is it specific to one set of PDFs?

Could you share a screenshot or a recording showing the issue and the current version of the OS so that we can test it at our end and investigate it? Please collect the logs from the affected machine and share them with us.

Thanks,

Anand Sri
