Updating Adobe Acrobat Pro to use with Mac OS Catalina

I updated to Mac OS Catalina in early October 2019.  I have a year subscription, ending June 2020, for Adobe Acrobat Pro.  Of course, it won't work in Catalina.  I have used Adobe's online chat help tool three times now.  They send me to a link to download Adobe Acrobat, but it will never download. They tell me a new version of Adobe Acrobat will be available soon that will work with Catalina.  I have not yet found it and it has been nearly a month.  If I cannot use Adobe Acrobat Pro any longer with Catalina, or if I am going to be without it for any longer, I need a way to cancel my year subscription and get it pro-rated, but cannot seem to find a suitable way to do this.  Any advice would be gratefully accepted.

If you don't mind me asking,  where did you downloaded the installation program that you are trying to install?

And from which directory in you macOS are you trying to execute it from?

I do have an idea of the problem but is dependent on your answer.

In the meanwhile, just for troubleshooting purposes, if you have the Adobe Creative Cloud installed, remove it comppetely for now.

Also don't use the creative cloud install method either.

Try to install again but download the offline full installer  of Acrobat Pro from here:

Hi melissa,

Just following up to see if by updating you were able to keep your suscription with Adobe Acrobat.

Thank you.

I had pre-paid my subscription, so it makes no sense to cancel it.

I have no current Adobe Acrobat installed on my computer - it went away with my installation of Catalina.  Therefore, I cannot update a program I do not have.  The updates ask me to select what program I wish to update, but there is no to select, to the updates fail.  I tried to re-install Adobe Acrobat, but I continue running into the same problem - the installer pops up in my Finder window, and then disappears/crashes.  I cannot re-install Adobe Acrobat.
