Upgraded adobe and now it crashes upon opening acrobat 10 seconds later

Question

Only thing that keeps acrobat open is if i sign out through Creative Cloud. As soon as I log back in, it continues to crash acrobat. I cannot even open PDFs to view it on my desktop anymore. How do I fix this? I have tried:

1. unisntalling all adobe products and reinstalling

2. Adobe cleaner tool

3. Adobe repair tool

I'm at my wits end.

I would try to disable "protected mode" in Acrobat's Preferences>Security (Enhanced) and see if that helps with the crashes. I also found a video that goes over a number of different reasons why Acrobat might be crashing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6vvNe1Pwf8&t=34s
