Upgraded from Acrobat 8 to Acrobat DC.

Loaded stand alone version of Acrobat DC with serial number. The Adobe CC sign in screen pops up and when signing in an it asks what product and serial number you are upgrading from. The drop down list does not have Acrobat 8 as a choice. Unable to sign in which closes the program. Is there a work around?
