Upgrading and transferring a license at the SAME time

Hi again, hope all are well. I wonder if someone from Adobe can help. Looking at the contact options (found here; https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/what-contact-options.html), it seems the only option is this forum?

I currently own Acrobat Standard 2017 for Windows but would like to upgrade to Acrobat Pro 2020 for Mac.

I am aware that I'll need to deactivate my old software and that's fine but are you still eligible for upgrade pricing if you're changing platforms at the same time? I've looked at the EULA but it's not clear, (probably because it's not often that this happens).

Regards, Dwight.

In reply to myself here. Yes this is possible but I'd suggest to anybody that wants to do it that they should verify with secure chat when they upgrade just to make sure the policy hasn't changed.

Normally, upgrades are only possible in the same technology range… so Windows to Windows and macOS to macOS. In addition, upgrades are only available for a limited time. Adobe Customer care should be able to answer these questions. I would try to contact them via chat. As you are not asking for technical support but for commercial information, chat should be able to help you.

Adobe customer care can be contacted by beginning a secure chat session at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. Pop-up blockers need to be disabled! If the chat window fails to open, or is non-responsive, use a different device to start the interaction.
Support phone numbers may be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html. Please note that phone charges may apply.
