I am trying to create a PDF in Acrobat DC using pdfs made from a book scan. I import the files and some of them are upside down and I am unable to rotate them using the menu. How do I fix this from happening?

You can rotate pages via the Rotate Pages command in Acrobat. Search the Tools panel for "rotate" and you should find it, under Organize Pages. You can also right-click the pages in the Pages panel on the left and do it from there. You can also right-click a page and the option to rotate it will appear in the pop-up menu...

The above answer is helpful but does not fully solve/answer the question. I believe part of the question was how to stop some pdf pages from importing upside down when they are right side up to begin with. Telling the person to use rotate neither explains why it is happening or solves the ongoing problem.

I also have this problem. PDF pages that are Adobe Acrobat (use command I to find out) import around the right way but those from another PDF application (not Preview) import upside down, most of the time.

I am using Photoshop to clean up some images, Adobe branded items always work together okay.

Would love to know how to solve this without having to continually rotate images that are not Adobe and would love to know if try67 was also using pdf pages that were not Adobe. Stay Safe.

In order to be able to help you we need to see the files you used to create the PDFs, and understand what exact command you used to do it. I have used files from many sources and this will only happen if it's an image that's already rotated when imported into Acrobat, or something like that. Acrobat does not rotate files on its own...
