Having issues with adobe after updating. When applying redactions it is adding black to areas that was not selected and not applying redactions to what was selected. This is extremely important that this gets fixed or finding a possible solutions since this is highly sensitive information. It was working perfectly fine before, until the update. All my coworkers are experiencing the same issue.

If everything is offset consistently, then it is likely there is an issue with the page coordinates. Redaction should compensate for coordinate differences stemming from page rotation and a difference in the Crop and Media boxes. So, there could be an issue with how the underlying page structure is built.

You might try either optimizing the documents or printing to PDF in order force Acrobat to recreate the pages correctly.

Does it appear that the actually redacted areas are consistently offset from the redact annotations? Or are there any other patterns to the issue?

Yes, nothing is matching up and everything is offset.
