URL link to execute chrome and open the link?

I would like to open a particular URL (from .pdf) in Google Chrome, but the default browser is Internet Explorer. Most company APPs either support or require Internet Explorer, so we don't want to change the default browser. One app we have only works in Chrome. Can I change the URL link to execute chrome and open the link? Like Google?
