Use CSV to Make Multiple PDF Links

Hi! I'm looking to see if there is a way to use a CSV file to create multiple links in a pdf at once.

My overall goal is to make every product in our catalog have a link to it's location on our website. My CSV file has our product SKU number and the website link for each product in it, ideally I'd like to be able to upload that CSV file and it would tie the website link to the SKU number on the PDF in bulk. Since our catalogs tend to have 2000+ prodcuts each I'm trying to avoid having to copy paste every single link manually.

Any advice is apprecaited!

Yes, this is possible with either a script or a stand-alone tool. The latter is more robust and would work better with larger files. It can also create links with an actual "Go to a web-page" command, unlike a script that can only create links that run a script to open a web-page.

I've actually developed both of these tools. They are paid-for utilities and you can find them here: https://www.try67.com/tool/acrobat-create-custom-links-from-text

Feel free to contact me privately to discuss it in more detail, if you wish.
