Question

Users being prompted for Adobe Acrobat sign in when RDS/Terminal server is restarted

Hello,

We are facing an issue with the following environment:

Windows Server 2019 Version 1809 running as RDS Session Host / Terminal Server

Adobe Acrobat 64-bit for Windows version 22.003.20282

Users Saved credentials do show up in their credential manager under Windows Credentials successfully.

However, every time Server is restarted, the users are prompted with Adobe sign-in and the credential manager saved credentials is ignored.

Is there a licensing issue others have noticed with user prompting on RDS servers in general?

Thanks!

Any update on this issue? This started last week after the last update. It is tax season, this is slowing work down. Do you have any work arounds we can do until you fix it?

Hi ryoun1b,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please let us know if this has started occurring recently.

Did you make any recent changes?

Do you experience this behavior only when you restart the server?

Thanks,

Meenakshi

It started about 6 months ago and appears to be a change in how adobe checks licenses upon each use.  Our users are on an RDS session host server running Windows 2019 server.

when the user launches acrobat they appear to have been logged out then when user tries to open a pdf it finally prompts for adobe credentials.

we restart this session host daily.

 Thanks
