Acrobat doesn't have a built-in spell-checker functionality for static text, only for comments.

Acrobat has never been a word processor and does not have spell check for document text. In addition to comments as mentioned above, you can also spell check in form fields.

 

Your other choices are

  • Run spell check in the source document
  • Write and run a script that will run spell check
  • Purchase a script that will run spell check.
