Hello all,

I am doing a small project and need some help. I want to have a template where on the side of the document there is a static box where I can replace a certain text in the document. So basically my template has "customer" I want to be able to replace every single instance in the document that says "customer" with the clients actual name whenever we get a new client so I do not have to manual put it in everytime. If that makes sense?

In France, it is customary to write only once at the top of the document:

"Mr. John Smith, hereafter referred to as the client."

There is therefore no other text to modify in the document.

It does make sense, but it isn't a small project, I suspect. It's advanced use of form fields and JavaScript programming. This would certainly be easier to have the template in Word. This is the normal thing, since it takes only seconds to make a PDF from Word.

This is possible when you put the whole text in form fields.
