Hi @rustyj45327509,

I hope you are doing well.

To answer the question, Yes, you can use the license on cross-platform devices. However, you can access the application on only one system at a time.

The maximum number of logins on one account is 2 devices. You may refer to the link for more: Adobe end-user license agreements FAQ

Hope this helps.

I'm confused the FAQ page referenced says separate licences are required for different platforms yet you said one licence could be used on a mac and Windows OS please clarify

the FAQ reads:

Adobe develops software for different platforms (such as Mac OS, Windows, Linux) and sells the software built for separate platforms as separate products. If you want to use the products on different platforms, it's necessary to purchase a license of the software for each platform you use. A serial number for a product for one platform cannot be used for the same product for another platform.

It varies by product. Most (not all) perpetual license products are single platform.

Most (not all) subscription products can be run on either Mac or Windows (if available on both).

Creative Cloud apps and Acrobat DC can be run on either platform (where offered).

Perpetual license Acrobat is one platform only.
