Using original filenames as "page information" in a PDF made from combined files

When I combine files into a single PDF, I need to print the pages with the original filenames as page information in marks and bleeds.

There is no built-in method of doing this within Acrobat.

Conceivably, you could write some JavaScript to place such file name information in the area you desire within each PDF file prior to combining them into a single PDF file.

When I googled the question, I only received results for 3rd party apps…

which I am trying to avoid.
