Vorlesen in deutsch funktioniert nicht

Obwohl ich alle Einstellungen am Mac, am PC sowie in Acrobat (Reader und Pro) auf deutsch eingestellt habe. Kann ich es mir nicht in deutsch vorlesen lassen. PDF UA ist das PDF Format.

The Read Out Loud feature in Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader relies on the voices installed in your operating system, not within Acrobat itself. If German voices are not available or properly configured on your Mac or PC, Acrobat will not be able to read the document aloud in German—even if the app’s language settings are set to German.

 

Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: Win: 25.001.20693 Planned update, Sept 09, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.

 

Check System Voices

On Windows: Go to Settings > Time & Language > Speech, and ensure a German voice is installed.
On Mac, go to System Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices and download a German voice if it is not already available.

 

Configure Acrobat Preferences

Open Acrobat.
Go to Menu > Preferences > Reading.
Uncheck “Use default voice” and manually select a German voice from the dropdown (if available).
Adjust pitch and speed if needed.

 

Verify PDF Accessibility

Ensure the PDF is tagged properly (PDF/UA compliant), as untagged PDFs may not be read correctly.
You can check this via View > Accessibility > Full Check.

 

If the issue continues, please provide the following information: the current version of the operating system on your device, a sample PDF file through which you are able to reproduce the issue, and the logs from the affected machine. To collect the logs, download and run the Log Collector tool. Make sure to select all log options and attempt to reproduce the issue. After that, close the Log Collector tool; it will generate the logs along with a log ID. Please share this log ID with us for further investigation.

Hello, thank you for your prompt reply. I had already made the suggested improvements. However, I noticed that it does not work in the current version of Adobe (2025.001.20643). It worked in the old version (2024.005.20320).
