Want to convert screen capture to editable word text using Acrobat.

I used my MS Surface camera and OfficeLens to create a pdf of some newsprint. I want to convert it to editable word text using Acrobat. It failed horribly. Maybe this was something I did or did not do. Can you help?

I have not used this forum in the past, so some guidance is desirable.

Hi richm36298746,

If you are using a mobile device to capture a document, I would recommend using Adobe Scan app, it is available for both Android and iOS and using this app you can run OCR on the file.

Alternatively, you can use OCR on the existing scanned file: Edit scanned documents ​Let us know if that helps any.
