WARNING TO USERS: BEWARE REFUND ISSUES!
Firstly, I want to make clear that the following article is of no reflection to Adobe software products. The actual products are great and work for what I need.
However, the service representing the products is to be taken with extreme caution.
I signed up for a 7-Day trial to complete a very important document for a court clerk's office. Upon the ending of my trial period, I was charged in advance a pending amount of $29.99 on 11/25/2025. I canceled the payment and the plan on 11/25/2025 (well within the refund period). I was immediately locked out the product plan and recieved an email detailing so. Likewise, I was given a message about a refund within 5-10 business days ("depending on your bank").
This was not a simple refund. I never received a refund within the time period, and the $29.99 was finalized with my bank and no longer pending. So, essentially, I paid for a service that I no longer had access to.
I went through the mediocre help center only to chat with an indiviual who reassured me that a refund was issued and not to worry. This individual assured that I would get my refund.
Another week went by and I did not receive a refund. So, once again, I contacted chat support and was led down another reassuring rabbit hole of "your refund is pending," and "you'll get a refund in 5-7 business days." But, I still did not receive a refund.
An entire month had almost occured before I reached out yet again to the chat support. I found only the same, robotic and programmed response from a third representative. This rep. told me that my bank denied a refund and called it a "BILLFAIL." This rep. then proceeded to tell me this order had been expedited and now it will be further expedited. This expedited issue will resolve in 3-4 days.
At this point I had enough of the endless garbage loop of lies. This is a multi-billion dollar company, but they can't issue a simple refund in the amount of $29.99.
I contacted my bank. I filed a complaint against Adobe and told my bank I am desputing the charge. I provided all the proof of the refund and all screen shots of the chats.
Finally, after nearly a month, I have received a pending refund on my bank statement.
So, this is a warning to all potential or current adobe users. Please be aware of this mediocre service in regards to your financial care. Do not expect an immediate resolve for refunds. Please save all chat conversations, emails, tickets, etc. Prepare to contact your bank or finacial institute in light that this company drags you on in an endless loop.
Thank you for reading. Take care.
