"We are unable to activate creative cloud" ONLY occurring for Adobe Acrobat pro

Hi. I have CC activated through my university, and have had no issues running the various programs on my personal device. However, all of a sudden, Acrobat Pro will not open. I literally was working on it one minute, closed it, and the next minute, received an error 194:6, stating "We are unable to activate creative cloud."

 

As you can see in the below screenshot, I am logged in to Creative Cloud just fine, and can open other apps like Photoshop. Only Acrobat is generating this error.

I have the same problem, exactly. Also a university user. Will try uninstall etc.

Hi there

 

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.  Please try to remove the application using the Acribat Cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html  , reboot the computer and reinstall the application usin the link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and see if that works.

My first advice would be to reboot the machine.

I rebooted a few times, and the problem persisted. I wound up "solving" the problem by completely uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat.
