Web Form Checkboxes appear as radio buttons.

I have a fillable form that I created with Adobe Acrobat DC.  This form has multiple Yes No checkboxes.  When I create a web form from this fillable form, all of the checkboxes are converted into radio buttons. Why does this happen, and is it preventable?

    Hope you are doing well.

    Would you mind confirming the exact method of converting the form to a web form? Have you uploaded it first somewhere and then turned into a web form? There's no way in Acrobat to directly change the type of a field.

    To understand better, please share your workflow or your form to reproduce the issue at our end.
