What does Inherent Zoom do for bookmarks in Acrobat DC Pro Mac

I see no difference in the different zoom etc settings for bookmarks. What is their purpose?

Inherit Zoom means your current zoom level doesn't change when you click the bookmark and it goes to its destination. Any other option will set the zoom to a specific value (100%, 200%, etc.) or setting (Fit Page, Fit Page Width, etc.).

Relatedly: is there a way to adjust the height of bookmarks? with a new update in Acrobat today I noticed something I haven't seen before—"fringed" letters at the bottom of a bookmark. Changing the size of the bookmark text does remove these marks, but then the text is smaller than I'd like. Maybe that's not fixable.

No, it can't be adjusted. Looks like a bug, though.
