Hi,

With Customization wizard, is it possible preventing the Acrobat DC installing the Chrome's Acrobat plugin? If not are they other way removing it of blocking it with the registry (not GPO)?

Thanks,

Hi francoisr65984866,

Thank you for reaching out.

Yes, you can turn off the browser extension using the customization wizard. Please refer to the information on the following page: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Wizard/properties.html.

You may also refer to the suggestions provided on the following community thread with a similar discussion: https://community.adobe.com/t5/enterprise-teams-discussions/prevent-acrobat-update-from-installing-the-chrome-extension/td-p/8776730

Hope the information helps.

Thanks,

In fact the enable Chrome extension is not available in the Pro Wizard customization tool.

When installing the extension Pro DC is installing the extension:

1. In the login user

2. In Software\Google\Chrome\extension

3. And! under the wow6432node\Google\Chrome Extension.

With the customization tool, it is possible to prevent the 64 bit registry part but the wow6432node is not showing up.

So with a script, I need removing the wow6432node part and the HKCU user part.

So it does seems the customization wizard is not doing the whole task.
