What is the Secret to downloading acrobat pro version 15 on my mac laptop?

I purchased Acrobat Pro 2015 Version 12 (but the info says Version 15.006.30527) somewhere between 2015-2016 directly from the Adobe Website as a requirement for a Masters' level nursing program. Recently, my entire internal hard drive on my MACOS laptop was completely wiped. The only computer the program was ever downloaded on is my Windows PC which is the only option I am being given on the Adobe website under my account information. I was able to finally find the download for MAC OS, but I got the error message stating the serial number was invalid. I'm trying to avoid paying for a monthly/yearly subscription since I've already paid for this in the past. Any advice?

Also, by the way, Acrobat 2015 is too old to run on any current Mac (running Catalina or Big Sur systems).

The version number shows this is not the subscription version, so you can't just swap platform. When version 2015 was current Adobe would generally swap it for free (which would cancel the other platform).

Serial numbers were usually platform specific, so if you are trying to use a PC serial on a Mac install, it's probably not possible. CC subscriptions are cross-platform, but not sure if DC2015 was part of that ecosystem yet.
