What options do I have to edit a pdf form file (from a Mac platform) that was created using Adobe LiveCycler?

My base form has changed and I'de like to copy and paste the form fields from an older pdf form into the new template for easy import of variable form info. My issue is that I am on a Mac, and I have lost Adobe LiveCycler on the pc side. What has Adobe done with replacing LiveCycler and is it Mac compatible?

LCD is still available, but it needs to be purchased separately from

Acrobat now, and no, it's not available for Mac machines.

If you want to be able to edit it on a Mac you'll need to convert it to an

Acrobat form.

I'm not aware of any other application that will edit XML PDF forms.

Same for me.

On MacOS you can use Apple Preview* to open XFA-PDF files made with LCD and Save As to convert to Acroforms-PDF files used by Acrobat Pro.

This will keep all form fields untouched but all interactivity, calculations, etc. will be lost.

* this is the only interest I have ever found in this software

Do you know of any other options to replace LCD that is Mac compatible. It looks like Adobe will soon stop supporting LCD.
