What program can I download to use Adobe Enterprise Acrobat features offline?

I have Adobe Enterprise with my school, which includes Adobe Free:

  • Acrobat Export PDF
  • Acrobat Create PDF
  • PDF services

This looks like the same capabilities of Adobe Acrobat Reader?

I have limited space on my iMac and don’t want to download the entire Creative Cloud application.

I do NOT have internet at my home address, so I cannot use the online version at home, which is where I will be studying.

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader. It has some of the tools available online but not all of them (online, you there are various options to edit a pdf. That’s not included in the Reader).

Are these extra edit pdf capabilities only online??

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat Standard but it keeps telling me to start a subscription.

Any help much appreciated!

    We have checked your account associated with your community profile email address. You currently have access to all apps under an enterprise license.

    Please note that Adobe Acrobat Reader is free software designed for viewing, printing, signing, sharing, and annotating PDFs, but it does not support PDF editing.

    If you are using the 64-bit version of Acrobat Reader, it should automatically upgrade to Acrobat once you sign in with your email address. Make sure to select your enterprise account when signing in and not a personal account. Alternatively, you can install the Acrobat application directly from this page: Install Acrobat Enterprise term or VIP license

    If you want to use the application offline, please refer to the following help document for more information: Acrobat connectivity requirements and offline grace period.

    Hi Meenakshi,

    Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, the signing out & in again didn’t work. When I tried to ‘Edit a PDF’, I got the pop-up again, saying to start a plan or a free trial of Acrobat Standard or Pro.

    I did previously download the ‘Standard’ version for Mac from the link you provided - I got the same pop-up.

    Just to clarify, with my current enterprise licence - should I be able to edit a pdf using the Acrobat Standard app? Or is it online access only, for the editing features?

    If I should have access via the app, maybe it’s something my school’s admin needs to activate?

    Please try installing the Acrobat Pro version, not the standard. Also, please share the screenshot of services listed under your Adobe account. You may use the following steps:

    • Open the Adobe account.

    • Sign in with your Adobe ID and password.

    • Go to Plans and Payment tab.

    • Select Plan from the left hand pane

    • Share the screenshot of the application listed under Included in your plan.
