What's new Can not disable this feature

I have seen several cases around concerning this same or similar issue, is there a fix that works? Every time a PDF file is opened, we get this pop up its very annoying and slows down daily tasks.

We have tried going to Preferences>General>Show me messages from/to Adobe and uncheck "Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat” Each time this is disabled its turned back on again!

We have checked and uncheck compatibility mode under Properties of the application shortcut with no luck.

There are no new updates pending for the user’s machine, they are running version Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 25.001.20474

Hello @Kerrie222807454oth!

I hope you are doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

Could you please share a screenshot of the pop-up you get? Are you on a Windows machine or a Mac, and what is the OS version? As you mentioned that the preferences settings are not working. You may try the registry changes, and let us know if that works for you.

If you are on a Windows machine, ensure you take a backup of the current registry settings.

Open regedit - go to the location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown

Please add a dword here on the right side by right-clicking and selecting DWORD(32-bit). Rename the Dword created as bToggleFTE and set the value of it to 1.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Acrobat forum so that proper help can be offered.
