Hello,

When I am in any PDF document on one specific computer and I open Document Properties, I can see the Fonts tab (picture_1), when I change to the Description tab (picture_2) and to Security tab (Picture_3), the text is overlapping. See pictures attached.I am working with Acrobat Pro Version 2022.003.20263/64-bit.

Any help is appreciated to resolve this problem as it appears only on one computer.

A user below had the solution and it work!  In Adobe, Go to "Edit" and choose "Preferences".  Click on "Security (Enhanced)".  UNCHECK in Sandbox Protections "Enable Protected Mode at startup".  Now log out of Adobe... and then Log back in.  The error should be corrected and screens in Forms whewn editing a form Field (Text Field Properties) should be readable.  Even the most recent version of Adobe can have this error (it is not corrected yet).  Adobe now knows (I was on the phone with them today) and they promised to report the bug (again) and bring it to the level of the developers as this problem, it appears, has been around at least since 2022.

Hope this helps.  It can be fixed!

We are having this issue as well with 64-bit Acrobat since version 22.003.20282. We have found that if you disable Sandbox Protections under Prefereneces - Security (Enhanced) - Uncheck Enable Protected Mode at startup it resolved the issue. We plan on opening a ticket with Adobe.

You can also turn it off via the regitry
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\Privileged]
"bProtectedMode"=dword:00000000

Thanks very much for that information, that finally solved the problem on my VM.

I am very happy now so that I can continue my work in normal conditions again.

Best regards from Luxembourg

This seems to me that it is a memory issue.

The screen does not seem to refresh as you switch between tabs.

Is it happening when you only have Acrobat opened, check your Task Manager to see if there are anything you can stop before testing Acrobat again?

Can you share your system specifications: version of windows and video card. RAM...

Did you install/update anything recently just before this happened?

Hello Eric,

Sorry for the delayed answer but I am actually only working a few hours a week and I saw the mail only this morning.

The problem occurs all the time even if only Acrobat is open.

I don’t know if it might have an immediate signification but the problem began when the day when we changed from summertime to wintertime in November.

I contacted our Network guys from the company but to date they had no solution for my problem.

I am working on a virtual machine, here are my specifications of the virtual machine:

Edition  Windows 10 Enterprise N

Version 22H2

Installed on        ‎27/‎10/‎2020

OS build               19045.2311

Experience         Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0

Device name     Vmx033

Processor           Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6154 CPU @ 3.00GHz   2.99 GHz

Installed RAM   8,00 GB

I thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards from Luxembourg
