When creating a pdf I get the error access denied

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. try disabling the protected mode from Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) >uncheck the box next to enable protected mode at startup > click OK and try again.

Note: Disabling protected mode is for troubleshooting purpose only, and not recommended. Please turn the feature back on after troubleshooting is complete.

Also, check for any pending updates of Acrobat from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after installing the updates, and see if this brings any difference.

If the issue persists, please share the following details:

• Is it a Mac or Windows machine?
• Dot version of Acrobat installed, to identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
• Are you using Acrobat or the freeware Adobe Reader DC, to identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
