When I click edit, pdf rotates 90 degrees if it had an image?

I use the same template form to write court papers, sometimes they require a signature at the bottom. I usually import an image that has a signature. When lazy I open an old page, copy the image with the text surrounding it. Why does the document rotate 90 degrees? Only happens sometimes, after clicking edit to copy the elements.
