When I click "save-as" I get no dialogue box

I have been using Acrobat with zero issues until today. When I click "save-as"the window opens but I cannot save. I have tried suggested folders as well as "choose a different folder" and when selected, the window disappears but nothing opens. I have gone through several recommendations listed here, updated, repaired installation, uninstalled and re-installed. I have restarted multiple times and I can find no solution. 

I have also checked to see if any of my other programs/apps have updated and still, no joy. 

Since my son just asked, yes, I paid my bill. LOL

Go to Menu - Preferences - General and disable "Show online storage when saving files" and "Show online storage when opening files".
