When I combine files to create a single pdf document using the Combine Files tab, it duplicates the first set of files selected rather than combine all the files selected.

I need help using the Combine Files Tab.  When I select multiple files to combine, it duplicates the first set of files selected rather than combining all the files selected.  Can anyone help me with this?

Hi Jamesdk,

Adobe Acrobat will not combine form field data if fields of different forms have the same name.

As BerndAlheit suggest to use portfolio feature. It is an expected behaviour when you combine forms if form fields have the same name. They will duplicate data, Acrobat combines it as a single file and treats all fields of the combined file equally. To overcome this issue either you rename fields in prepare form mode or flatten the fields before you combine.

Feel free to update the discussion if you have further questions.
