When I go to “File” then “Save As” I just get a blank screen pop up.

I have adobe acrobat reader dc and a brother DSmobile 700a
scanner.

When I scan an item I am no longer able to save the pdf
file.

When I go to “File” then “Save As” I just get a blank screen pop up.

This used to work fine and I have saved hundreds of pdf
files but suddenly I cannot get past the “Save As” button.  Also, the “Save File” icon does not respond.

What should I do to correct this situation?
