When I open any PDF file I always get the attached message. Do I need an update?

This has been happening for months and I need a solution.

    Any file at all??? That's difficult to believe. Maybe any file that was created in a certain way, which contains this problematic font. The solution needs to be in the way these files are generated. If you created them, how did you do so? If someone else created them, report the issue to them.

    The problem happens with any PDF that has been managed by very different people, so the problem must be in some preference... could it be?
