When I print to PDF, a google chrome window opens, not the PDF file....what's up?

When I try to print to PDF, everything seems fine until the screen opens to the Google Chrome screen instead of the printed file.  Also, when I try to open any of my previously saved PDFs, it opens a Google Chrome screen, not the PDF file.  It is as though everything has dissappeared.  Help!

Seems, your Chrome is set a default application for PDF documents.

Try to change to Acrobar or Reader it as decribed here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat-Reader/How-to-set-Adobe-Reader-as-default-PDF-viewer-on-Windows-10/td-p/10625497

Thank you so much!  I have been frustrated to see my desktop populated by the Google Chrome logo.  Google's reach into my life is high enough.  This changes brings me back to earth again.
