When preparing a form and adding calculations one stubborn field will not work

Hi, I have created a interactive form with InDesign and have now added all the calculations to the form in Adobe Acrobat. Everything is working well, apart from one text field which just does't show anything. from looking at the properties of the field everything should be working well with the calculation, format, etc.

Does anyone know what could be causing this issue? Other fields in the form are fornatted the same way and are working correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.

It could be due to a field being created in InDesign, if nothing else works, try deleting the field and create a new field in Acrobat and see if that fixes it.

I would suggest removing all formatting, since it could be obscuring a real issue. For example, if one of the values used in the calculation was "not a number", the calculation result would not be a number.

Next, look at the console window to see if any errors are reported.

Thanks, I just tried this and it still shows no formatting on the preview. 😔

Did you check if it was set as Hidden? Can you share the file?
