when Saving a PPT to PDF my font used doesnt carry into the PDF. It always did, now not at all

Question

I have rebooted several times, reloaded the font on my MAC, logged out of adobe and back in and the font used in the powerpoint presentation still will not show when I PDF. the font is available on Adobe as well, I am not sure why its now dont this. any help?

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
