when saving as PDF (or printing to PDF), some of the text (especcially numbers) become 'cloudy'

--> some numbers seem to have lines around. this is an example of the ToC but it also happens in title numbers and normal paragraphs as well.someone who can help?

Hi Dbin,

As you have mentioned above, you are saving the Word file as PDF or use Print to PDF.

It seems that you are not using the Adobe PDF maker to create PDF.

In this case, there is nothing can be done from our end.

You may try creating PDF via the free trial of Adobe Acrobat DC and check if that works for you.
