When sending document for signature recipient is not prompted to sign or given a signature box.

When sending a document to a recipient, I follow the steps to request a signature. When they receive the document, they are not prompted to sign, or even given a signature box to fill out the form. Please help.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.  As described, when sending document for signature recipient is not prompted to sign or given a signature box.

 

Would you mind sharing the steps you are doing to send the document for signature? And how the users are opening the PDF to view and sign the document?

 

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version 21.07.20099 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer once.

 

Also, please try to send the document for signature via Document Cloud https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/ and see if that works.

 

You may also try to send a test document to yourself and see if its working fine.
