When sharing a PDF from adobe the email type is set to plain text not HTML

We have a user who is attempting to share PDFs directly from Adobe Acrobat. When using the share option, the email opens in Plain Text format instead of HTML, which is preventing the user's email signature from being applied correctly.
I have already tried the following fix:
I created a new key at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown
I then created a DWORD value called bSendMailShareRedirection and set it to 0.
Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue, as emails continued to open in Plain Text format rather than HTML.
Has anyone come across this before or knows of a permanent fix?
