When will Acrobat have a global setting to permanently disable the bookmarks sidebar (also called the navigation pane) for all PDFs?

When will Acrobat have a global setting to permanently disable the bookmarks sidebar (also called the navigation pane) for all PDFs? its quite a pain in the rump to have the bookmarks open on every doc that has them causing a part of the page to shrink, and causing me to stop what I am doing and having to close it.

GIVE US THE OPTION TO GLOBALLY TURN IT OFF, OK?????
