When working on network share, the application freezes

While trying to work on network share files using the Adobe reader/editor, the application freezes for some time and then begins working again. The application was updated and reinstalled, but it didn't help. This is causing a lot of inconvenience and taking up a lot of time.

What is the OS and version? What is the exact version of Acrobat? Is the network share connected, or do you need first to connect the share? Is this happening only on one computer or on many computers?

The OS is Windows 10 Home, and the Acrobat version is 2023.001.20174. It connected to the share using Windows' built-in VPN. We experienced the problem on two different laptops.
