Question

Where do I install PDF presets obtained from my offset printer?

The info that I've read says to place Acrobat presets into the Settings folder (Mac OS 10.12.6) inside Application Support.  Well, there is no Settings folder inside Library>Application Support>Adobe>Acrobat>DC.  So, as usual, Adobe's instructions don't help me.  My offset printer is going to give me their PDF preset for Acrobat.  Does anybody know where I can put the file so that it is one of the preset options when I'm creating a PDF (usually from InDesign) from another Adobe software?  A location that actually exists?  Sorry to be so smarmy about it, but it's so difficult to find instructions that actually work for anything more involved than "How to save a file in InDesign" et al.

Ok, if you have a subscription it should be the DC folder. But does it say /Library or ~/Library?

Do you have the perpetual license ("classic") or subscription ("continuous")? It's different.

Are you asking if I have a Creative Cloud subscription?  Yes, I do.
