Where has Print to PDF gone?

Since installing Creative Cloud, my print to PDF option has disappeared from the devices and printers.

  • It's missing from the list of printers in the "add a printer" diaplg.
  • It's not an option for adding a local printer manually.
  • There's no "add in" in Microsoft Office, and it's not in the "disabled add ins".

How do I restore it?

If you install with CC you must uninstall with CC or it can get very confused. Still, see if Update does anything useful.

There should be a "Adobe PDF" printer available.

As for the "add-in", I do not miss it. I open word documents in Acrobat.

Reinstall Acrobat, or run a Repair Installation from its Help menu.

Mske sure you have a full subscription to CC (not just Photoshop) and make sure Acrobat Pro is installed Using CC.
