Question

Where has the 'Cancel-button' gone?

Hello,

Recently I have been getting different contents in the dialog box in Adobe Acrobat (Prof. 64-bit Windows version), for example when I want to close a PDF document that has been changed.
There were always three options: Yes to save the document, No to not save and close the document. Or Cancel, in which case the document with the unsaved changes remains open for further work.

Now, however, the Cancel button is missing: either the open document can only be overwritten with the changes, or the changes are lost. It is not possible to return to the open document.

The cross in the top right corner that could be used to close the window is also missing.
How do I get back to the old dialog?

thx yosimo

Hi, I also have this issue. Did you find the solution to this?

I have the same issue and this is not the only one, almost every time I make changes in a PDF, acrobat loses focus and i have to reselect the program every time (so if I have to add text and start writing is very frustrating)
All of that comes after the last update..
(OS - Windows 11 Pro 23H2 64-Bit , Acrobat - 2023.008.20470 32-Bit)

I still have the cancel option (and the X, but the X is managed by the OS).

What is your OS and version, and what is your Acrobat and version?

That's mine too. So what operation are you doing before getting this dialogue?
