which acrobat to use

Hello acrobat people! I have adobe subscription to photoshop and lightroom but have recently replaced computer and it does not seem to have a version of acrobat which enables me to add text to pdfs. I had an old copy of acrobat pro on my old computer but wondered if anyone can help point me in the right direction. Which is the right software to use for this and is it only availavle via subscription? I regularly edit pdfs to add text comments and would like to have this set up in my workflow.

We have checked your Adobe account and found a Photography Plan registered, which covers Photoshop and Lightroom.

To access Acrobat Pro, you need a subscription to Acrobat as well. It could be an individual subscription or buy complete Creative Cloud.

As mentioned that you have had Acrobat on your old machine. I do not find any license or old version registered in your account for Acrobat.

It could be a possibility that you had Acrobat Reader (Freeware) installed earlier. That can be downloaded from here and doesn't require any subscription.
