Which version of Acrobat should I get?

I would like to purchase Acrobat. There are many different versions that differ significantly in price. But the listing and description of the vesions on Adobe.com is very confusing.

The following 2 features are important to me:

  • Create fillable forms from Word files or scanned documents
  • Extracting and merging pages

Are these two features available in Acrobat Standard? (a cheaper subscription version than Pro)

If not, then Acrobat Pro 2024 (3 years license) would be an alternative.

  • Is Acrobat Pro 2024 (3 years) the same as Acrobat Classic (3 years)?

Who can help me unravel this jungle of options?

Thanks in advance!

Ute

@us-hh Your two key features are Create fillable forms from Word files or scanned documents and Extracting and merging pages, based on your two critical needs, Acrobat Standard should meet your requirements., $12.99 a month.

Second question: Acrobat Pro 2024 (3 years) vs. Acrobat Classic (3 years)...

Pro: Subscription, provides access to the latest features, security updates, and premium online services on desktop, web, and mobile.

Classic: One-time purchase, desktop-only application that you purchase once for a three-year term. It receives quarterly security updates but does not receive feature enhancements or access to premium online services. After the three-year period, the license expires, and the software will no longer function.

So, what to do? I would go with the Acrobat Standard as that's all you need. If you truly want more bells and whistles, go ahead and spend the extra money then.
