Everything got harder to read, all the color coding of the tools gone, etc. I'm 46 yrs old and don't need any changes like this that interrupt my work.

We know, and agree (well, I do, at least). Luckily, you can disable it.

To go back to the old UI click the Options button at the top left corner (Windows) or open the View menu (Mac) and select Disable New Acrobat.

 What a stupid thing for a company to do, to roll out an unwelcome complete visual overhaul in the middle of the workday, in the very middle of the week.
